1837 * 1838 Rebellions - Patriotes vs Loyalists

The 1837 and 1838 rebellions were exceptional events in our country's history. The exhibition traces the roots of the Rebellions and their political, social and economic dimensions.

From November 6, 2007 to April 27, 2008.  Tuesday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Exhibition An Old-Fashioned Christmas  Heritage

The Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage invites you to relive a Christmas from the time of our ancestors.

Visitors follow a guide on a tour of the permanent exhibition.

Guided tours last from 45 minutes to one hour depending on the group. The exhibition tour can vary.

Experience the magic of the season at the Château Ramezay Museum! Young and old are invited to participate in one of the many activities offered in the Museum’s fairytale atmosphere.

Note that the three choirs performing on December 9, 16 and 30 at 1 pm and 3 pm.

Military costumes for youngsters. Worshops to make cartridges, tattooing inspired by the Natives, storytelling, guided tours. In winter, snowshoeing and old-fashioned curling.

Trails by Night

With or without snowshoes, and lit by lanterns, groups follow the guide and explore Île Sainte-Hélène where a mystery unfolds and characters appear, even the Devil watches.

Trails by Night is a group activity, without snowshoes in the fall season or with snowshoes when there is snow.

Who Is the Real Santa Claus ?
